Job Description: The Busser/Dishwasher is responsible for the cleanliness of the restaurant by cleaning up after guests. Your responsibilities may include sweeping floors, taking out trash, moping and other tasks to help maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the restaurant. As a Dishwasher your duties may include, but are not limited to: - sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine. - sort and stack clean dishes. - carry clean dishes to cook's line and other proper storage areas. - rewash soiled dishes before delivering. - wash pots, pans and trays by hand. Remove trash and garbage to dumpster. Set up or breakdown dishwashing area before and after shift. - clean and roll/unroll mats. Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solution. - general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed. As a Busser your duties may include, but are not limited to: - Clean and set up tables and place setting. Assisting the wait staff with any needs - clean and properly set tables - work with servers and host/hostess' to ensure guest receive excellent service - offer assistance to guests by clearing away dishes and glassware from tables and refill beverages if needed. - remove dishes and clean tables in the dining area.
